The hotel is very close to public transport. you can take the number 28 tram. The stop is right in front. bolt or uber is very easy to get, so i saved time and money. the staff offered very nice service. they were helpful and gave great recommendations.

Authentic Charm and Really good Service
helpful staff unique space delicious breakfast
I appreciated the staff's helpfulness . They assisted me with a canceled return flight. The facility itself is gorgeous, a unique and authentic space. The breakfast was really delicious and worth including in the reservation.
My room was located just above reception, so it was noisy each time the door slammed shut! Also the cleanliness could have been better. I noticed the curtains were dirty at the bottom.

The location was perfect with walkable access to many viewing points and landmark buildings, as well as the heart of the city. It's a quiet location, just out of the interior hustle of the city. The ambiance was very good, too.

Breakfast was superb, staff very friendly and couldn't be more patient. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. I liked the dinners. They were excellent, too, though maybe a little pricey, still good.

The rooms are spacious and really pretty and full of charm! The linens and beds were great, I slept well . My bathroom was amazing, everything was modern and super clean, just a little noisy.

Excellent Stay at Refurbished Historic Palace
original decoration friendly personnel comfortable bed
The palace retained original decoration, particularly in the bar and restaurant areas. Breakfast was amazing (i liked coffee), light, and not heavy. It varied slightly each morning. The fruit changed along with pastries. I found the personnel friendly and helpful, a real asset to the hotel. The bed was comfortable.
The room was a bit too warm even with the heating off.

local spots quick check-in amazing coffee
and they knew all about the local spots! check-in was quick. i could leave my bags before check-in. my room was so quiet because it was away from the street! breakfast was great. I really recommend the coffee selection. It is amazing!
I noticed the room felt too warm, even when i turned off the heating. It was a minor thing, but something to note!

metro proximity smooth check-in spacious room needed amenities
the hotel is near rossio, about two metro stops away. the check-in process was very smooth and easy for me. i was allowed to leave my things in my room before the check-in time. my room was spacious with all the amenities i needed.
The price felt a bit high for what was offered. I think some features could have been better for the cost.

the building displayed artwork capturing local landmarks it was a standout feature. the staff was attentive and cute to my needs. i enjoyed free coffee every afternoon in the garden. i visited the working coffee factory and found it wonderful.
the breakfast service was slow when i asked for a second coffee.
